How to join us

Terms of membership

LAEM is opened for new members and invites your enterprise to join supporters of environmental management implementation in Latvia.
The association was created with the purpose to join efforts of all stakeholders interested in promotion and implementation in Latvia Cleaner Production methods, environmental management systems and principles of sustainable development, therefore the association membership may obtain:

  • industrial enterprises, whose activities generate a negative environmental impact and who wishes to find effective solutions to reduce pollution level;
  • local authorities concerned with sustainable development planning and implementation at the territories of their jurisdiction;
  • environmental consultants who offers solutions of environmental problems and promote new environmental management tools at Latvian enterprises.

LAEM invites all associations and other non-governmental organizations to become our associated members and to cooperate on a voluntary basis. You can find the application form in Latvian in the attachment.


Membership fee per year for individuals is 28,46 EUR. Membership fees for legal persons are determined depending on the number of employees in the company according to the table:
